About Elline

Elline has twenty plus years of clinical experience in implementing therapeutic treatments, seven of them with the Veterans Administration. Her specialty in acute care includes orthopedic joint replacement and repair, balance training and vestibular rehabilitation, muscular skeletal pain treatment, stroke rehabilitation, lower back pain, oncology and prescribing customized exercise programs for geriatric, cardiac and neurological injured patients.

While working at the Veterans Administration as a Registered Kinesiotherapist, Elline developed, implemented, and marketed the hospital’s Back School program, which evaluates and provides treatment to clients with lower back pain and dysfunction. Additionally in her role at the VA, she traveled to patients’ homes, evaluated safety and medical equipment needs, and provided family and patient education for safe and proper use of medical equipment.

Elline graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Exercise Science, and decided to complement her education by also becoming a Certified Massage Therapist, which has aided her over the years to accurately diagnose and treat injured and dysfunctional patients. After becoming certified as a Personal Trainer & Performance Enhancement Specialist, Elline focused her specialty on sub-acute and rehabilitation care, and also became certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Cancer Society (ACS). Elline currently holds the ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist® and ACSM/ACS Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer® certifications, and in the past twenty years has worked with leading physicians, case managers and chiropractors.

Over the years Elline has developed long-term and close relationships with her clients. She strongly believes that a patient’s health is dependent on a many factors, including: medical care, nutrition, physical activity, emotional support and a desire to remain healthy.
